Dortmund extends contract Erik Durm
Dortmund – Borussia Dortmund has decided to extend the contract of Erik Durm. Left-back 22-year-old extended his contract until 2019.
Durm underwent his first full season with the senior team in 2013/2014 Dortmund. He appeared 19 times in the Bundesliga that season and eventually called up to the Germany in the 2014 World Cup.
This season, Durm always appear in two inaugural match in the Bundesliga. Looking at performance, Dortmund decided to extend his contract.
“Borussia Dortmund has helped me to develop into the player as it is today,” said Durm on the club’s official website.
“Naturally, if I responded with a long-term commitment to the club that has given me a lot of support.”
“I’m very confident with the future of Dortmund. Got something big is growing here and I want to be part of it,” said Durm.
Stronghold Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc through, said he was happy to see Durm welcomes proposals from their contracts.
“Erik is a fantastic player and he’s always grounded. He is very fit with Borussia Dortmund,” said Zorc.
“We’re determined to present her long-term contract after seeing its development.”
