Flamini Ready Set aside friendship with Fabregas
London – Duel Chelsea against Arsenal also be a battle of two good friends among Cesc Fabregas Mathieu Flamini. Even so, for the sake of helping his team win Flamini put aside his friendship.
Arsenal will challenge Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday (10/05/2014). The Gunners are eager to take revenge for the 0-6 defeat suffered last season.
Flamini knew Fabregas joined Arsenal from the first period in the summer of 2004 both became his teammate for several seasons, including the current ‘Gunner’ to qualify for the Champions League final in 2006.
After spending three seasons at Barcelona, Fabregas returned to London but not back to his old club instead joined rival club Chelsea. It will be the first reunion with Arsenal’s Spanish midfielder, the club he made his name.
“We were really close friends. Istimewat This is a game for me to fight him,” said Flamini told Sky Sports. “I always communicate with him. We also neighbors.”
“He is someone who I respect on the field, not just because he is a great player but he’s also a good guy off the field. Football is our life, but we also have a life outside the pitch.”
“He showed the right mentality and work for the team. He clearly become one of the Chelsea players who have to watch out on Sunday,” said the former AC Milan player.
“The difference on Sunday was I probably will keep him and it will not be easy – especially since he is a good player, but also because he was a friend.”
