Extends contract until 2019, Kovacic dreamed Scudetto
Milan – Mateo Kovacic extend his contract with Inter Milan until 2019. Together with the Nerazzurri, Kovacic hopes to win the Scudetto next season.
Kovacic became one of the Inter players who look good in this season. 20-year-old midfielder was contributed four goals and one assist in Serie A so far. He began rumored interest of other clubs like Real Madrid.
However Inter move quickly to fence off the Croatian players. Beneamata add two years to the previous contract runs out in 2017 Kovacic.
“I have to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to renew my contract. I’m happy, there are five more years in which I want to look good,” said Kovacic told Sky as quoted by Football Italia.
Kovacic then talk about the target Inter this season. With the arrival of Lukas Podolski and Xherdan Shaqiri, Kovacic sure Inter can penetrate the big three. As for next season, he dreamed of the Serie A title
“We hope to qualify for the Champions League this season, along with players who have come (Shaqiri and Podolski) we hope to achieve,” said Kovacic.
“Scudetto next year? Hopefully, but the road is still long, much remains to be done. Currently we are in the 12th position, a long way from here to the Champions League final in 2016 (San Siro),” he said.
