MU Without Carrick Four Week
Manchester – Manchester United really can not get out of the storm injury this season. One player begins to recover, another player hit by injuries. ‘Red Devils’ Michael Carrick are now losing muscle injury.
Manchester United’s official website states that Carrick muscle rupture. This problem is quite serious and Carrick takes at least four weeks to recuperate.
Thus, Carrick ruled out when Manchester United entertain Leicester City at Old Trafford on Saturday (31/01/2015) tomorrow. 33-year-old midfielder was also not able to appear in the game against Cambridge United (FA Cup replay match), West Ham United, Burnley, Swansea City and Sunderland.
This is not the first time this season Carrick injury. He missed the start of the season and comeback last November. So far he has appeared in 14 games.
But, MU also get good news. Ashley Young, who injured his hamstring at the beginning of this month, will soon recover and graze again.
“We had a lot of injuries. Ashley Young right back, but Michael Carrick now injury so he missed this weekend. He could be important for the team, but he is now injured,” said Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal, MUTV.
“I think it would take more than four weeks (to recover). So, I think it’s not a minor injury but a muscle rupture,” he added.
“He was also captain of both, but I have to say that this is part of a manager’s job, especially this season at Manchester United, because we get a lot of injuries. But, now we see the light at the end of the hall,” said Van Gaal.
