Mourinho sure Terry will be to Contract Extension
London – Waiting John Terry will be a new contract to get fresh air. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho ensure that senior defender will get an extension, sooner or later.
Terry contract with Chelsea is only four months away, or will expire at the end of June. But so far he admitted there is no talk of an extension of the club, although he has said his desire to survive.
With the contract period in the next few months, the future of Terry began speculated. Major League Soccer in the United States said to be one of the goals that may take 34 players this year.
But his performance so far seems to satisfy Mourinho. The Portuguese manager to make sure the players will get a one year extension.
“I think all the players want to survive, especially one who has been here all his life. He received our policies per year which is a contract year and he gladly accepted it as a challenge,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.
“Last year he won the challenge and this year he won the right to a one-year extension. Sooner or later he will get a seasonal contract which he deserves,” he added.
Throughout this season, Terry has played 34 times with a donation of five goals and two assists. He and Chelsea are still in the hunt for three title track that is, the Premier League, Champions League and League Cup.
Speaking of the contract, Mourinho also not spared from this topic. His own ties with Chelsea still leaves the past two years, so not too considers extension as current needs.
“If I was a different case. I still have a contract for two more years. I want to survive. It was the club’s happy, but I do not need a contract at this time. I will survive for Mr Abramovich wants me to survive,” he said.
