Garcia: Still Juve Scudetto favorites
Paris – Rudi Garcia assess the strength of Juventus this season is not reduced at all. AS Roma‘s allenatore also believes Juve still be in the forefront to win the Serie A.
Juve showed strength in Serie A with a champion in the last three seasons. Last season, Juventus won the Scudetto with a record-breaking points.
However, the departure of Antonio Conte’s Juve touted to make a little lost strength. Not without reason, because Conte was the one who brought La Vecchia Signora triumphed in the last three seasons.
But it did not change the view of Garcia against Juve. The arrival of a number of players like Alvaro Morata and Patrice Evra makes Juve remain strong and still be the favorites to win the Scudetto.
“His ambition is to do the best we can do. Juve have won three Scudetto last and do not sell their players and bring in players like (Alvaro) Morata and (Patrice) Evra,” said Garcia told Canal + as quoted by the Italian Football.
“So I think Juve are favorites. We will do everything that we can and this summer I asked the team to double his efforts to get as close as possible (with Juventus),” he added.
Although calling Juve as favorites, Garcia still predict Serie A will run tight. Other teams such as Napoli and Milan duo calls will go make the competition more exciting.
“Italian league a little special, not just Juve and Roma. Napoli are a very strong team, and very rich. And then there were two teams from Milan, Inter and Milan, which has solidified himself,” said the Frenchman.
“I’m sure this will be an incredible competition, hard won,” said Garcia added.
